Event:    Historical UNESCO town Telc – an exhibition and debate 

Docent Jiri  Stulc, a doyen of the Czech state heritage care and former president of ICOMOS in CzR will introduce a fabulous exhibition showing the history of the UNESCO protected town of Telc as seen  through the lives of the most influential aristocratic families of the region and Count Michael Podstatzky-Lichtenstein,  a private chateau owner, will give a contemporary account of getting his family estate on it’s feet after the post communist restitution.

Our  guest of honour Ben Cowell, Director General of Historic Houses of Britain, will lead a debate on the role of the state in the upkeep of private heritage properties and our other guest of honour Catherine Leonard, Secretary General of International National Trusts Organisation (INTO), will provide an international dimension to the debate.

There will be refreshments and wine!
