Scholarship for the Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2018 – applications by 10 March 2018

The Summer School is designed for foreign students, teachers, translators and interpreters and other experts active in the field of Czech/Slavonic studies. Date of Summer School: 27 July – 24 August 2018

– Faculty of Philosophy of the University of South Bohemia, České Budějovice
Date of Summer School: 20 August 2018 – 07 September 2018

All successful applicants from the UK will receive a scholarship consisting of free board and lodging, coverage of course fees and free access to cultural events which are part of the course programme. There are 20 scholarships available altogether for applicants from the UK. For more information about the individual institutions please check the individual leaflets under the link provided above.

To apply please fill out the attached application form (handwritten or typed), sign with own hand, print and send together with your CV in Czech or English to the following address at latest by 10 March 2018:

The successful applicants will be notified directly by the individual institutions they applied for. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in London can accept only printed and signed applications. Any applications sent directly to the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport or to the institution providing Summer School courses by individual applicants will not be processed.

Please note that the Summer School courses are open also to foreign nationals who do not hold or cannot apply for the aforementioned scholarships and wish to bear the related expenses themselves. Applications are to be filed directly with the selected institution in this case.
